After their debut release Baby Blue EP this past October, Toronto-based independent alt-country outfit Gregory Childs & Heart Lung announce the video premiere of “Blood Ties” with Dropout Entertainment.
Since writing the Baby Blue EP Gregory Childs & Heart Lung have taken to the tracks of Toronto’s Junction triangle to record the single-shot video for “Blood Ties”, track B of the EP. The rails are no stranger to Gregory Childs, who grew up next to a country rail crossing as a boy and walked the lines daily as a means of reflection. “Blood Ties” tells the story of a family estrangement and the traps that follow in its wake. The video, filmed by Tyler Stevenson, premiered on January 30th, 2021 through an interview with Dropout Entertainment.

About The Band
Toronto-based Gregory Childs & Heart Lung came to life in late 2019 as an alt-country outfit focused on taking pop-country to a gnarlier place. Self-described as “emotionally confused Willie Nelson”, the band was actively playing The Cameron House, Monarch Tavern and other Toronto staples before COVID forced them to focus exclusively on recording.
